There are two types of Sunflower oil: Linoleic (High Omega 6) and Oleic (High Omega 9).
We have always used Hein Celestial Omega 9 Sunflower oil which has a very low Omega 6 content of 5.1%, as compared to the 10% to 15% Omega 6 found in Olive oils and Avocado oils.
Most seed oils are Omega 6 based and bad for you. Since our Sunflower oil is solvent free, cold pressed with a low Omega 6 (Oleic Sunflower oil) it has a long shelf life and is a heart healthy choice.
